Is it possible to install Hidden-Fix Aluminium Copings to WDP plywood parapet?

Currently we are progressing through installation of rainscreen cladding system at one of our projects in South West part of London. Our client has requested us to supply and fit aluminium copings on existing parapet with hidden fix system - no visible fixings are allowed.

Architects have detailed aluminium copings to be adhered to WDP plywood on top of the parapet with batt-strap joints in between. We have raised a concern about this detail and decided to investigate would be be secure and reliable to the duration of use.

All aluminium fabricators and copings suppliers have confirmed to us, that intermediate aluminium bracket system is essential - it could be hidden fix brackets or aluminium plates to receive structural adhesive to support copings.
